What is Photologium?
The Photologium is a
photo gallery and sales desk, exhibiting the best
work of Adam Dimech. You can browse my catalogue of photos, and if
you feel so inspired, purchase a copy online. Otherwise just enjoy the
photographs.
Do you
sell your images?
Yes! Please step through to the Sales
Department.
Can I
use your images on my website?
If you want to use an image
from this website (or from www.adonline.id.au), you need to get a licence.
Please refer to the licencing
page. Failure to do so is a breach of Copyright (refer to copyright
statement).
What
equipment do you use?
I have two SLR cameras. The one I use mostly is a Canon EOS 350D
digital SLR. But I also have a film-based Canon EOS 500N.
I have three lenses that I currently use; a Canon 18-55mm lens,
a Canon 75-300mm telephoto lens and a Tamron SP 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6 LD Aspherical (IF) lens.
How
accurately do the digital images reflect the printed versions?
The images displayed on
this website are a close representation of the printed versions. However, the
actual colours may differ from the display on this website. This will depend on
your monitor and internet browser settings.
Can you tell me about the functional
underpinnings of this website?
No worries! This website uses a customised version of the Gallery
photo-management package. Its functionality is underpinned by a MySQL
database and ImageMagick
server-side image manipulation software. Payments are managed via PayPal
Australia.
What is a.d.online?
a.d.online is my personal website, located at www.adonline.id.au.
That website contains my biographical details and heaps of interesting stuff
related to plants, science, architecture, Melbourne, neon signs, and anything
else I find of interest. And yes, it has a blog.
Who is
Adam Dimech?
The creator of this website and all its photographs! I have been taking photos since I was a child,
but it didn't become a serious pursuit until a few years ago. I am an entirely
self-taught photographer and particularly enjoy taking architectural and
landscape photographs, most especially at twilight.
I am actually a plant scientist by
profession. You can read my profile
on my personal website. I live in Melbourne, Australia.
Do you Flickr?
Of course! Why
not take a look?
How do I contact you?
Easy! Just drop me a message at the a.d.online
Feedback
Form. In order to prevent spammage, I don't post my email address online.
